Laptop screen Bristol
My mate cracked his laptop screen stupidly! He left this headphones on the keyboard and closed the laptop lid whilst the headphones were still inside. He tells me he heard a big crack as he closed the laptop lid.
well you can probably guess what happened. His laptop screen was goosed. After calling me he described the laptop screen as “bleeding”. I asked him what colour the blood was – no reply to that
Anyway it’s a fairly common issue. Laptop screens are pretty delicate. However my so called friend decided to go to PC World in Bristol to get his laptop fixed. BIG mistake. They wanted to charge him a flat fee of £230 to fix his laptop screen. The laptop is probably not even worth that price! You can buy a new laptop for about £400. I guess it’s PC World’s policy to charge and arm and a leg for laptop repairs. In the hope that the customer will decide it’s not worth getting the laptop fixed and just trading in their laptop for a new model.

Well guess what, PC World are such a big name for one reason only. They rip their customers off. We now out source all our laptop screen repairs to a national company. Probably the same company that PC world use but add on an extra £100 just because they can!
